St. Simeon's is offering a Lenten Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am at the Rotary Apartments, 400 Thomas St., Lachute, QC.  

This year we are looking at the Seven Words from the Cross.

March 12    Forgiveness   "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."  Luke 23: 33-34

March 19    Salvation       " Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise    Luke 23: 43

March 26    Relationship  " Woman, behold your son.... Behold your mother"   John 18: 26-27

April 2         Distress        " I thirst."  John 19: 28

April 9         Abandonment    "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"   Mark 15: 34

April 16       Reunion       "Father into your hands, I commend my spirit."  Luke 23: 46

                   Triumph        "It is finished."   John 19: 30
