On Sunday, January 12, 2025, we said our goodbyes to Rev'd Nick Brotherwood. Nick has been priest-in-charge of St. Simeons on a third-time basis for the past three years and we are ever grateful for his ministry amongst us. We wish Nick all the best as he heads into a new phase of life - the wonderful retirement years.
Following our worship service, St. Simeon's held a small reception for Nick, serving scones with jams, clotted cream, and veggies and cheeses. The presence of other local church members evidenced the true sense of Nick's ministry within this community. He has been involved with Bible studies at a local Senior Apartment building, services at a local Senior's Residence, an on-line Bible study within the deanery, and many other ecumenical events and projects.
