The Parishes of Lachute and of the Lower Laurentians are holding a joint Advent Bible study in preparation for Christmas.
The theme for this Study is "What is Mission?" created by the Church Mission Society.

Week 1 looks at the myth - Mission means we have to save the world.
The reality - God wants all Christians to be set free to join him in mission.

Week 2 looks at the myth - Mission is primarily a western thing.
The reality - Mission is multodirectional, from everywhere to everywhere
Location- Home of Fay Price, Lake Louisa at 6 pm
Week 3 looks at the myth - Mission is about doing things for people in need.
The reality - Mission is largely about being with people.
